DPA Summary
A summary of the planned Team data-processing posture.
Team data handling
PickPDF Team is planned for organizations that need documented data-handling commitments. Core document opening, rendering, editing, OCR, redaction, organization, and saving are designed to remain on the user device. A Team customer should still assess device security, filesystem access, storage, backups, sharing, optional endpoints, and staff procedures.
Processor scope
For hosted account, billing, licensing, support, and seat-management data, XVELOPERS may act as a service provider or processor depending on the final Team agreement and applicable law. The DPA should identify the data subjects, data categories, processing purposes, instructions, duration, and customer role.
Signed DPA
A signed Data Processing Addendum is planned for Team customers before checkout and production rollout. The signed document, order form, and service description will control over this website summary. Ask for the current draft during procurement and complete legal and security review before sending production personal data to any hosted Team service.
Optional AI endpoints
The built-in PickPDF model runs on the device after its model files download. Ollama, LM Studio, and OpenAI-compatible connections use the endpoint selected by the user or organization. The Team customer should define approved endpoints, authentication, logging, retention, network boundaries, and the document text staff may send.
Support and diagnostic information
Support messages can include contact details, platform and version information, steps, and error descriptions. Users should not attach or paste confidential PDFs or personal data that the support team does not need. A non-sensitive sample can help reproduce file-structure problems.
Subprocessors and transfers
The final DPA should list relevant subprocessors for hosted Team functions and explain notification, objection, location, and transfer safeguards where applicable. Store distribution and a customer-selected AI endpoint can involve separate providers and terms outside the hosted Team service scope.
Security and incident terms
The signed DPA should describe suitable technical and organizational measures, confidentiality, access control, incident notification, assistance, and audit information for the hosted processing in scope. Local PDF content remains under the customer’s device and endpoint controls unless the user sends content through an optional service.
Deletion, return, and data-subject requests
The final agreement should define retention and deletion for hosted account, licensing, billing, and support data and describe assistance with applicable data-subject requests. Local source and output PDFs remain in locations controlled by the user or Team customer.
Requesting the current DPA
Contact the PickPDF product team with the organization name, expected seat count, deployment platforms, procurement schedule, and required DPA review route. Do not include production personal data or confidential documents in the initial request.
