Terms of Service
Terms for using PickPDF browser and desktop software.
Use of the software
PickPDF provides browser and installed PDF reading, editing, conversion, review, security, OCR, and local AI tools. You may use the software for documents that you own or have permission to process. You remain responsible for the source files, edits, output, storage, and people who receive the result.
Licensing
Free, Pro, and Team license terms differ. The browser editor is offered without an account for individual use. Pro is intended as a personal desktop license. Team is a business licensing and support plan. The product page, store listing, checkout, quote, order form, or signed agreement presented at purchase supplies the controlling price, term, device, seat, deployment, and support details.
Document handling and output review
PickPDF performs core document work on the device, but local processing does not verify the accuracy, legality, accessibility, security, or acceptance of the saved PDF. Review text, page order, redactions, OCR, form values, signatures, links, encryption, annotations, attachments, and metadata before relying on or sharing the output. Keep an unchanged source when the workflow requires recovery or an audit trail.
Acceptable use
Do not use PickPDF to access documents without permission, distribute malware, evade security controls, infringe intellectual-property rights, impersonate another person, falsify records, or break applicable law. Do not interfere with the website, stores, update services, support systems, licensing systems, or another user’s access.
Optional AI connections
The built-in model runs on the device after its files download. Ollama, LM Studio, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints use the destination configured by the user. A remote endpoint receives the text context sent to it. You are responsible for choosing an approved endpoint, protecting credentials, understanding its retention terms, and checking AI output against the source document.
No professional advice
PickPDF may help with legal, financial, healthcare, engineering, records, or administrative documents, but the software and its guides do not provide legal, financial, medical, engineering, archival, or compliance advice. A tool result does not replace review by the qualified person responsible for the document or decision.
Availability and changes
Features, platform availability, store delivery, and compatibility can change between releases. A document’s PDF structure or restrictions can also limit a tool. Release notes and product guides describe current behavior, but they do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with each file, viewer, operating system, browser, or third-party system.
Questions and current terms
Store terms, checkout terms, signed Team agreements, and applicable law can add or replace parts of this website summary. Contact the PickPDF team before purchase when an organization needs specific licensing, deployment, procurement, support, or data-processing terms. Do not send confidential PDFs through the contact form.
